Study on Sexual Reproductive Rights of Women and Girls – Collaborative effort

SRHR and our thoughts

DIPTO Foundation believes that sexual and reproductive health and rights or SRHR is the concept of human rights applied to sexuality and reproduction. As a women and girl child based organization, DIPTO Foundation opened this window of SRHR in 2015 and started working on women/girls and sexual reproductive rights and awareness activities.

Our main strategic focus is to build capacity of young people to engage and advocate with Government and CSOs as key actors in the implementation of sustainable development goals 3, 5 and 8 to ensure health and gender equality in Bangladesh. DIPTO Foundation is also the host organization of the prevention and protection of women safety and security in public transport and economic empowerment and employment generation in Bangladesh.

We are a pro-choice organization, and we support young people’s access to independent decision making over own body and health including production of echo friendly low cost sanitary napkin factory establishment and safe production for affordable services with protection from stigma, and employment generation. Distribution of sanitary napkins at affordable prices to women/girls in community, garment factory workers and school going girls.
