DIPTO Foundation hosted a presentation on “Women Stakeholders in Renewable Energy Transition,” taking place on 26th June 2024 at Women For Women. This meeting aims to highlight the current landscape for women in the renewable energy sector and explore strategies to amplify female representation. The discussion focused on the role of women-led organizations in driving the renewable energy transition, addressing the significant gender disparity in Bangladesh’s energy industry. To tackle this significant gender disparity, educational institutions could play a vital role in encouraging more women to pursue technical education, particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math’s) fields.
