DIPTO Foundation recently hosted a transformative two-day workshop focusing on Renewable Energy Transition and Gender Inclusivity. The event featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Khondaker Golam Moazzem, Mr. Shahrier, Hassan Mehedi, Zakia K Hassan, and Helen Mashiyat Preoty.
Dedicated staff from 14 organizations working in renewable energy projects attended this training workshop.
The workshop’s primary focus was examining renewable energy transition through a gender-inclusive lens. Participants gained valuable insights into integrating gender considerations into renewable energy initiatives, strengthening their capacity to implement more inclusive projects in the field.
This technical training marks a significant step toward empowering women in the renewable energy sector, recognizing their crucial role in achieving a just energy transition. Through such initiatives, DIPTO Foundation continues to champion the cause of inclusive and sustainable energy solutions in Bangladesh.
